A Few Declarations of Founding Fathers

SAME SEX EDUCATION
IN HAWAII?

A spokesperson for the Board of Education said "The Board of Education's job is to prepare students for a society founded upon civil law, law which does not discriminate based on race, religion, national origin, gender, or sexual orientation or gender identity.....The Board is committed to prepare all students for a pluralistic society, whether gay or straight....How can we expect our students to treat all people fairly when the state itself endorses public policy that some of them are worth less? As public officials it is our job to endorse policies that declare that all people are equal a society that values the contributions of all it's members." Spoken by Kim Coco Iwamoto, a transgender member of the Board of Education.

NO WALL OF SEPARATION

Thomas Jefferson: "Believing with you that religion is a matter which lies solely between man and his God, that he owes account to none other for faith or his worship, that the legislative powers of government reach actions only, and not opinions, I contemplate with solemn reverence that act of the whole American people which declared that their legislature should 'make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof,' thus building a wall of separation between Church and State."

This excerpt taken from Jefferson's letter to the Danbury Baptists stating no prohibiting of the free exercise of the Church, simply means no government intrusion into the actions of the Church.

In 1835, Alexis de Tocqueville said of America, "It was not until I went into the churches that I understand her greatness. America is great because America is good. If America ever ceases to be good, she will cease to be great.

Exodus 18:21 Select capable men from all the people-men who fear God, trustworthy men who hate dishonest gain-and appoint them as officials over thousands, hundreds, fifties and tens.

I urge you to vote for pro-life, pro-family men and women in the upcoming general election. Hawaii can indeed be the shining light and example to the rest of America with God fearing leaders in office. We must also make sure we have a person who fears God and prays fervently as our head.

Please elect Duke Aiona and Lynn Finnegan and all candidates that will follow their leadership.
